ChargeSini Strengthens EV Charging Network Through Strategic MoU with PRO-NET
ChargeSini is proud to announce a strategic partnership with PRO-NET, the new energy subsidiary of PROTON, aimed at enhancing electric vehicle (EV) charging accessibility for residents of high-rise buildings across Malaysia. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed today at PROTON’s Centre of Excellence in Subang Jaya, also includes leading Charging Point Operators (CPOs) Charge+, RExharge, and Charge N Go. The initiative seeks to bolster the national EV ecosystem and support the growing number of Proton e.MAS and smart vehicle owners.

Enhancing Residential EV Charging Infrastructure
As Malaysia’s largest local CPO with over 1,010 charging points nationwide, ChargeSini will play a pivotal role by installing EV chargers at 204 condominium and apartment locations. This expansion is part of a concerted effort to make EV ownership more convenient and affordable, particularly for urban dwellers in high-rise residences who often face challenges with home charging solutions. Combined with previous collaborations, including the partnership with EV Connection in December 2024, PRO-NET now supports a total of 1,053 residential charging points, contributing to Malaysia’s milestone of 90% coverage for public charging needs.

Exclusive Promotional Rates for Proton e.MAS and smart Owners
To commemorate this partnership, PRO-NET is launching a limited-time promotional campaign for Proton e.MAS and Hello smart app users. From 1 June to 31 December 2025, ChargeSini will offer special EV charging rates at participating condominium charging points: AC charging starting from RM0.84/kWh and DC charging from RM1.11/kWh. These rates, accessible via the Proton e.MAS app, are designed to provide significant monthly savings for EV owners compared to standard public charging rates. This collaboration underscores ChargeSini’s commitment to facilitating the transition to electric mobility by providing accessible and cost-effective charging solutions for all Malaysians.

Driving Forward Malaysia’s EV Future Together
The partnership not only focuses on expanding physical infrastructure but also aims to simplify the process for both residents and building management. By working closely with joint management bodies (JMBs) and residential developers, ChargeSini and PRO-NET are streamlining approvals, offering technical consultation, and managing the end-to-end setup of EV chargers in condominiums. This hands-on approach ensures that installations are both efficient and tailored to the needs of each residence. As the EV market continues to evolve, such strategic collaborations are critical in addressing key adoption barriers—especially for urban communities—while laying the groundwork for a cleaner, smarter mobility future in Malaysia.
