How much does SAVVE cost the building?
Nothing upfront. SAVVE pays for the new intelligent LED lights, the sensors and the cloud system, and maintains them for 10 years. SAVVE is paid from the electricity it saves, and the building keeps a share of every month’s saving.
How are the savings measured?
Every SAVVE light is connected over Bluetooth to a gateway and the cloud dashboard, and a MID-certified meter records the actual consumption. The monthly saving comes from that measured data, and your management office can view the dashboard.
Will the car park be darker?
No. When a car or person is detected the light goes to full brightness straight away. In our trial the new 10 W SAVVE tube gave 86 lux against 43 lux from the existing 18 W tube, twice as bright on less power.
What happens if a light fails?
SAVVE replaces faulty lights at no cost for the full 10-year contract and keeps buffer stock at your management office. The lights are rated for 50,000 hours.
Is it approved for use in Malaysia?
The LEDs go through ST approval with SIRIM standard testing. Selangor encourages JMBs and MCs to join green initiatives under LPHS and the Commissioner of Buildings.
What happens after 10 years?
Ownership of the lights transfers to the building. You can continue the SAVVE monitoring and service on a 1+1 year basis.
